After a palm is lost
Replacement starts with the site, not the catalog.
Before choosing another palm, I look at space, long-term scale, access, irrigation, installation responsibilities, and how the new palm will be photographed after planting.
Re-homing and transplant review
Document the candidate palm and receiving site, flag visible health concerns, and organize questions for the nursery or relocation contractor.
Planting coordination
Keep supplier information, site preparation, installer responsibilities, and the agreed planting scope clear.
Establishment baseline
Photograph the palm after planting and follow visible condition, irrigation questions, and establishment concerns over time.
